The legendary British rock band Oasis has announced that they will be reuniting for a 14-date tour across the UK and Ireland in 2025. This will mark 16 years since the acrimonious split between the Gallagher brothers, Liam and Noel, which occurred after a backstage altercation at a festival.
However, the band has stated that there are no plans for them to create any new music as part of this reunion. The tour will focus on performing their classic hits and fan-favorite songs from their extensive back catalog.
The tour dates are set for July and August 2025, with shows planned for stadiums in Cardiff, London, Manchester, Edinburgh, and Dublin. Tickets will go on sale on August 31st, with pricing details to be revealed on the day.
Commenting on the reunion, the Gallagher brothers stated: “The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.”
While some have speculated that Noel’s recent divorce settlement may have played a role in the decision to reunite Oasis, the band has simply cited “the gradual realisation that the time is right” as the driving force behind this long-awaited comeback.
Despite the lack of new music, the Oasis reunion is expected to be a major draw for fans, with the band’s enduring popularity and iconic status in British music still firmly intact.
