This year marks Barbie’s 65th anniversary, and to celebrate, Krispy Kreme has collaborated with the iconic brand to launch a new line of doughnuts.
Starting Tuesday, four brand-new doughnuts with “distinctive designs and fabulous flavors inspired by Barbie” will be available at select locations for a limited time.
The collection, named the Barbie x Krispy Kreme Collection, comes in a special limited-edition box and includes:
Barbie Pink Doughnut
An Original Glazed doughnut decorated with pink buttercream, coated in sparkling pink sugar, and adorned with Barbie sunglasses.
Malibu Dream Party Doughnut
An unglazed shell doughnut filled with Cake Batter Kreme, dipped in Malibu blue icing and sparkling graham sand, topped with a piece resembling a Barbie DreamHouse, and finished with a white cloud design.
Barbie Berries ‘n Kreme Doughnut
An unglazed shell doughnut filled with Strawberry Kreme, coated in white icing, drizzled with purple and pink buttercream, and topped with a Barbie heart.
Barbie Sweet 65th Doughnut
An Original Glazed doughnut dipped in chocolate icing and decorated with Barbie Sweet 65 sprinkles.
Meredith Norrie, Mattel’s vice president of global licensing and consumer products, expressed excitement about the partnership, stating, “Barbie and Krispy Kreme are two brands that instantly evoke joy and fond memories. Krispy Kreme is the ideal partner to invite fans of all ages to enjoy a delightful mix of flavor and style, with hints of Barbie in every bite.”
Collaboration Features Exclusive Barbie Fashionista Dolls
Alongside the doughnuts, Krispy Kreme will offer “special surprises for selected fans,” including a limited number of Barbie Fashionista dolls, as mentioned in the press release. These dolls will come with unique Krispy Kreme accessories, such as a paper hat, and each will include a custom adult-sized denim jacket featuring the Barbie x Krispy Kreme branding.
Fans can enter to win the dolls and jackets in two ways:
1. From September 4 to September 6, anyone who comments and tags a friend on the Barbie x Krispy Kreme social media competition post on Krispy Kreme’s channels—@krispykreme on Instagram—will be entered into a giveaway.
2. From September 6 to September 8, Krispy Kreme Rewards members who buy a Barbie x Krispy Kreme dozen and scan their Rewards app at checkout will automatically be entered. Non-purchase entries are also allowed; see the official rules for details.

Additionally, customers dressed in pink can receive a free Original Glazed doughnut at participating Krispy Kreme locations on Saturday, September 7, with a limit of one per customer, available in-store and via drive-thru only.
