The creators of the popular Steam game *Black Myth: Wukong* have expressed their regret regarding technical and performance problems players have faced since its launch early this morning.
Game Science shared a statement on the game’s Steam page, assuring players that they are working on patches to address these issues. They noted that “despite conducting numerous comprehensive internal tests, due to the game’s extensive scale and the variety of software and hardware setups, occasional significant issues may still arise.”
“We sincerely apologize for any disruption this may cause,” Game Science added.

IGN rated *Black Myth: Wukong* an 8/10, highlighting it as a fantastic action game with thrilling combat, challenging bosses, intriguing secrets, and a stunning world, despite some technical frustrations.

Game Science mentioned that if players experience issues that interfere with gameplay, “most of the time, these can be resolved by resting at the Keeper’s Shrine or restarting the game.” Reports of graphical glitches and crashes on PC have emerged as well.
They also requested players to agree to their “Data Storage and Processing Agreement” to help them tackle problems proactively, thus reducing the need for users to report them.
“The development team is committed to enhancing each player’s gaming experience and will quickly resolve any gameplay issues in future patches,” Game Science concluded.
